Stukenberg, also known as David to a few, and Stuke to even fewer, was born in a small hospital in the town of Myshkin, Russia. From an early age, he dreamed of great things, but life in the small town constantly tread on his dreams.

He needed to escape, and America beckoned. Little did he know that things would only get worse before they got better.

Upon arriving on our shores, Stukenberg had little money (apparently the ruble to dollar exchange is terrible) and immediately fell into a place of drugs, hookers, and gang violence. We still call this place Brooklyn. While he never participated, the effects were all around him and he found his only escape was in his music.

He continued playing up until one fateful day, when he got shot 16 and a half times by the NYPD who mistook his guitar for a bazooka.

After the incident, which he still bears the scars from (ask him), he made a full recovery and moved to the quieter, slower, state of Wisconsin where he has resided ever since.

You can still hear the pain of each bullet in every word he writes and sings. Listen closely and you can even hear Mother Russia whispering to you...and it's creepy.

He is David Stukenberg.

Help David Remember Who He Is

When we created this site initially, we had intended to include a feature that every band/artist/music site has .....a brief biography. Unfortunately, I have recently decided that I am quite bored with my colorful past and I can only assume that you are, too.

So, I want a new past and I want you to write it. Tell me what caused me to fall into this horrible downward spiral we call "songwriting". Tell me about that one traumatic event(and or narcotics) that happened to me years ago that caused me to create that droning monstrosity that would someday become track 6 or 8 or 2. There are so many horrible and beautiful things that have shaped the sound and the Blah blah blah ......just tell us what they were.

The best biography will receive a free pre-release copy of 'The Silo Project'. More than one winner may be chosen.
